Job summary

Portland Leather Goods in Westlake, Ohio is hiring a retail associate to welcome customers, keep the store clean and stocked, and help shoppers find the perfect bag. Weekend availability is preferred, and prior customer service or retail experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Customer service/retail experience required.
• Familiarity with POS systems and the ability to learn new systems; Shopify experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to move merchandise and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, authentic, timely manner.
• Create lasting relationships and memorable experiences for customers.
• Keep store products up-to-date and well stocked.
• Ensure the store is neat, organized, and safe for customers and staff.
• Handle payments with proper procedures and operate the POS system.
