Job Overview
The Customer Master Data Administrator supports all Business Areas within North America and works closely with Global Customer Master Data Teams to provide support as needed. They ensure accuracy and integrity of all customer account data, manage pricing records, contracts, escalation pricing and additional charges, perform routine data quality checks, identify gaps and recommend improvements, and collaborate with internal stakeholders across Billing, Credit, Collections, Compliance, IT and Commercial partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations and achieve team goals.
- Administer Global Workbook requests in accordance with CMD Service Level Agreements.
- Handle non-workbook requests such as Lost Business, First Fill and Termination Customer Notification Letters.
- Program and administer Contract Formula Escalations.
- Provide after-hours coverage for critical requests.
- Perform and adhere to SOX compliance requirements.
- Adhere to documented Global Data Standards for Customer, Price & Contract data.
- Follow region, business and/or customer specific processes.
- Utilize job aids for Customer, Price & Contract data, including verification of approvals.
- Conduct data quality checks, investigate issues and implement remediation steps.
- Collaborate with Global Customer Master Data Teams and North America LB Sales Support.
- Communicate and resolve cross-functional process issues.
- Participate in projects such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and SAP releases that update or enhance Customer, Pricing or Contract Data.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Experience with SAP Navigation, Customer Master Data, Price Master Data, Contract Administration, Escalation / Formula Pricing, Global Customer Workbook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, ability to follow complex procedures.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-player, flexible and adaptable to frequent change.
- Self-starter, initiative in learning and continuous improvement opportunities.
Minimum Hiring Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- SAP experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Order-to-cash process knowledge and/or Liquid Bulk Contract knowledge is preferred.
