Customer Lifecycle Manager – Own the Customer Journey
Global | Remote Friendly | Marketing Team | Reports to CMO

At Buildxact, we’re on a mission to make life easier for builders and trades. Now we’re looking for a Customer Lifecycle Manager who’s obsessed with creating seamless, impactful customer experiences that drive adoption, retention, advocacy, and expansion.

In this role, you’ll architect and lead full-funnel lifecycle strategies that ensure every customer sees value at every stage - from day one to loyal evangelist. You’ll work across marketing, product, sales, and customer success to optimize the journey, minimize churn, and increase lifetime value.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute data-driven lifecycle strategies that increase product usage, engagement, and customer loyalty.

  • Identify friction points and drop-offs - then deploy targeted campaigns to fix them.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build personalized onboarding, engagement, and renewal experiences for our SMB customer base.

  • Run and optimize automated customer nurture programs via Marketo and other tools.

  • Define and monitor customer health metrics to mitigate churn and surface upsell opportunities.

  • Segment customer audiences and craft tailored communications that meet their specific needs and goals.

  • Lead the development of educational content, including webinars, email journeys, and product tips that help customers succeed.

  • Launch and manage a customer advocacy program - think referrals, testimonials, case studies, and speakers.

  • Partner with sales to fuel upsell and expansion campaigns with actionable insights and lifecycle touchpoints.

  • Own the customer marketing budget and report on performance, ROI, and impact.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in lifecycle marketing or retention marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Deep understanding of customer journey mapping, segmentation, and lifecycle best practices.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms like Marketo.

  • Proven success using data and behavioral insights to inform strategy and campaign performance.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Experience building customer advocacy or referral programs is a major plus.

  • Strategic thinker, tactical executor—you’re not afraid to get in the weeds when needed.
