Job summary

Industrial Finishes is seeking a Customer Inventory Specialist Driver/Paint Tinter II to join our Ogden, UT team. You will manage inventory at customer locations, perform paint mixing, and ensure accurate orders while providing excellent service.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work on-site with lifting up to 50 pounds. CDL is preferred; we sponsor CDL if needed. Benefits start the first of the month following 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of paint mixing or customer service experience preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Order Shark.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment: Set up and maintain inventory systems at customer locations, reconcile stock and restock.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with customers, sales team, and internal departments to support order accuracy.
  • Professionalism & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Paint Mixing & Inventory Management: Accurately mix refinish materials per supplier formulas, measure ingredients, manage inventory with PPE.
  • Workplace Responsibility & Team Support: Maintain a clean work environment, respond to customer needs, mentor new team members.
  • Delivery & Route Coverage: Safely operate a company vehicle, deliver products, and maintain delivery documentation.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management & Order Fulfillment: Set up and maintain inventory systems at customer locations, reconcile stock regularly, and ensure items are properly organized and restocked.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Maintain clear communication with customers, the sales team, and internal departments to support order accuracy and overall company goals.
  • Professionalism & Problem-Solving: Demonstrate sound judgment, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills while adhering to company policies and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Paint Mixing & Inventory Management: Accurately mix refinish materials per supplier formulas, handle and measure ingredients using scales, manage inventory, and safely lift containers up to 50 pounds using proper tools and PPE.
  • Workplace Responsibility & Team Support: Maintain a clean work environment, respond to customer needs, and help mentor new team members while effectively multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Delivery & Route Coverage: Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver product to customer locations, load and unload orders, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
Qualifications

Candidates should have intermediate skills in Excel, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Order Shark, along with strong communication, administrative, and problem-solving abilities. A high school diploma or GED is required; 5 years of paint mixing or customer service experience are preferred. The role involves working on and off site up to 2 days a week, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing tasks that include standing, walking, driving, and working in environments with exposure to paint fumes. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in both office and industrial settings are essential.

clean driving record. A valid CDL is preferred. Candidates without a CDL should be willing to obtain one, which the company will sponsor after 90 days of employment.
