3D Systems Corporation seeks a hands-on Customer Innovation Center (CIC) Manager to lead the Rock Hill CIC operations, strategy and customer engagement. You will oversee staffing, projects and showrooms, delivering demonstrations and workshops that showcase our 3D printing capabilities.

The role requires strong manufacturing leadership, deep process knowledge, and a passion for customer experience. Travel is ~10–20% and you will work with global teams to share best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems and metrics.
• Hands-on prototyping or production environment experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing resources.
• 3D CAD proficiency is a plus.
• Additive manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Rock Hill CIC, including staffing, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory, safety, quality and equipment maintenance.
• Manage customer benchmarking projects, ensuring on-time delivery within quality standards and aligned with requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Applications Engineering, Product Management and others to support customer engagement and growth.
• Coordinate CIC resources across projects and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain quality systems and processes to drive efficiency and consistency.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, training sessions and application reviews showing 3D printing value.
• Lead, develop and grow a high-performing technical team.
• Collaborate with other CIC locations to share best practices and improve performance.
• Manage external partners and suppliers supporting post-processing and value-added services.
• Support product development with customer feedback and real-world insights.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Customer Innovation Center (CIC) Manager to lead the operations, strategy, and customer engagement activities of our Rock Hill CIC. This facility serves as a customer-facing demonstration and benchmarking center, where additive manufacturing experts develop and validate real-world applications that showcase the quality, performance, and business value of our 3D printing solutions.

In this role, you will oversee CIC operations, technical and quality resources, customer benchmarking projects, and cross-functional collaboration while helping customers bridge the gap between prototype validation and scaled manufacturing. You will also ensure the CIC operates as an effective showroom, innovation hub, and technical resource for internal and external stakeholders.

This position requires strong manufacturing leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering compelling customer experiences. Travel is approximately 10-20%.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5-7+ year's of manufacturing operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, operational metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, model development, or production environments.
• Experience leading teams and managing operational resources.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software is a plus.
• Additive manufacturing experience (SLA,SLS,MJP,DLP, etc.) preferred.
• Experience managing manufacturing service bureaus or contract manufacturing operations is a plus.
