Baker Hughes is seeking a Customer Fulfillment Specialist in the United States with expertise in order management, quoting, and customer service. You will work with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Shop Operations to fulfill orders and resolve issues across the full business cycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong SAP ERP knowledge, and fluent English. Hybrid work arrangements are available, and you will support process improvements with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate customer transactions, order management and overall customer service.
• Own quoting, order entry, order fulfillment, and post-shipment issues across the business cycle for parts.
• Manage and resolve commercial and technical risks including pricing issues and clarifications.
• Issue Return Material Authorizations and track returns as needed.
• Provide order status updates and participate in customer meetings when necessary.
• Coordinate with internal orders and prioritize shop fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery.

Fueling Your Passion

As the Customer Fulfillment Specialist, you will develop solutions and provide support to our customers and channel partners by acting as a product specialist on the team. You will be working closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Shop Operations and other global functions, as needed.

As the Customer Fulfillment Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating customer transactions, order management, and overall customer service.
• Owning quoting, order entry, order fulfillment, post-shipment, and overall customer issues resolutions throughout all phases of the business cycle for parts. This includes but is not limited to reviewing and providing recommendations on customer requirements to assure compliance and/or noted exceptions on quotations/ purchase orders
• Managing and resolving commercial and technical risks. This includes resolving pricing issues, and technical clarifications, as needed
• Issuing Return Material Authorizations and tracking returns, when needed
• Facilitating order entry, providing order status updates, resolving customer issues and attending customer meetings where necessary
• Managing shop fulfillment prioritization of customer specific orders
• Coordinating and escalating with internal company orders
• Managing hold orders and maximizing on-time delivery through constant communication and prioritization of the shop fulfillment
• Working in close partnership with sales teams on customer and order related issues
• Collaborating with leadership for all necessary process improvements
• Managing escalations from external customers through AMC by clear communication, influencing teams and prioritization of activities
• Supporting other tasks as necessary for the Customer Fulfilment team

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/ GED with 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or purchasing roles in Oil and Gas or Power related industries)
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP system
• Proficiency in English
