GFL Environmental Inc. in Garner, NC is seeking a dependable Convenience Site Attendant to support daily operations at our local waste and recycling facility. You will greet residents, guide disposal, and help maintain a safe, clean site while operating site equipment.

This part-time role requires weekend availability, strong customer service, and the ability to follow safety guidelines. You will work outdoors in varied weather and assist drivers during pickups, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact with the public and team members.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and safety guidelines.
Basic math skills for site reporting if required.
Ability to work required shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and provide guidance on disposal of household waste, bulk items, and recyclables.
Keep the site clean and safe by sweeping, debris removal, and tidying as needed.
Safely operate and monitor site equipment such as trash compactors and track container levels.
Assist collection drivers by positioning and clearing areas around waste containers.
Open and close the facility punctually according to hours of operation.
Adhere to all safety standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
