Job summary

FleetPride in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Driver Associate to support warehouse operations and deliver parts to customers. The role involves unloading, stocking, inventory maintenance, and daily vehicle inspections as part of a team-focused distribution operation.

You will 50% time on delivery activities and 50% on warehouse tasks, using forklifts and safe handling practices. A high school diploma and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
• Forklift operator certification and 1 year experience operating a forklift highly desired.
• Valid drivers’ license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring the order being delivered is correct and professional.
• Load materials into vehicle and secure bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Follow company delivery routes to maximize efficiency of delivery run.
• Pick up returns and cores, tag appropriately and return to the branch.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle in safe operating condition.
• Manually load/unload materials onto pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Move materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas using forklift.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status following regulations.
