Job summary

MSI Express, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage customer relationships, ensure timely order processing, and oversee material flow to meet demand.

You will collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control to optimize plant operations and drive customer satisfaction. The role involves maintaining accurate customer reports, coordinating with procurement for raw materials, and supporting new product launches in alignment with commercial targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; or Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Minimum 4+ years in purchasing or material planning, materials management; food manufacturing experience.
• Proven track record in inventory accuracy and reduction strategies; strong math & typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure accurate order processing.
• Process customer orders accurately; verify details and schedules; prepare internal job files.
• Manage material inventory; drive inventory turns and minimize obsolescence and scrap.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and logistics to meet production schedules.
• Identify and resolve customer-related supply chain issues with relevant teams.
• Maintain clear communication with customers about order status and changes.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with customers.
• Analyze data to track order performance and inventory levels; provide insights for decisions.
• Ensure materials meet quality control standards and address issues with QC teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in customer material account management.
