Binny's Beverage Depot in Bloomington, IL seeks an energetic store associate to assist customers, manage checkout, restock shelves and keep the floor safe and clean. You will work as part of a team, follow manager directions, and uphold the store policies as written in the Employee Handbook.

The role requires 21+ age, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and excellent communication with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
• Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
• Ability to pass any alcohol training and maintain certification.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate with customers and managers.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Ability to read small type.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper age verification policies.
• Provide friendly assistance to customers and observe customer service policies.
• Operate cash register and maintain checkout areas.
• Stock, display-building and porter duties.
• Follow safety procedures and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve the customer.
• Perform duties as assigned by Store Management.
