Job summary

Binny's Beverage Depot is seeking part-time Store Associates to join our team in Illinois. You will help drive sales, assist customers, and keep the store safe and clean while following manager directions and the Employee Handbook policies.

Responsibilities include cash handling, stocking, and learning product details to better serve customers. You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled and be part of a team focused on excellent service with an emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to count cash and make change accurately.
• Able to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
• Ability to pass alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
• Able to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
• Able to follow directions and complete assignments.
• Able to write legibly.
• Able to read small type.
• Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in cold areas.
• Ability to work hours as scheduled.
• Consistent and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing sales and maintaining productivity levels.
• Provide friendly assistance to customers and observe customer service policies.
• Perform cash register operations and maintain the check-out, shopping cart and box storage areas.
• Perform stocking, display-building and porter duties.
• Follow injury prevention, safety training and security procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving procedures.
• Develop knowledge of store products to better serve the customer.
• Perform all duties as assigned by Store Management.
