Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and assisting in locating products.
• Providing customer service over the phone.
• Suggesting products to complete projects and explain proper uses.
• Using vendor catalogs and websites to locate special order items.
• Creating customer orders in Epicor and following up.
• Transferring stock from back-stock to the sales floor.
• Stocking shelves and fronting/merchandising products.
• Assisting customers in other departments when needed.
• Performing tasks assigned by Store Manager or Department Head.
• Handling tasks to satisfy customer needs (e.g., mixing paint, cutting keys).
• Rotating perishable stock and keeping areas clean.
• Communicating pricing errors or out-of-stock situations to the dept head.
• Cleaning back-stock areas and assisting coworkers as needed.
• Expanding product knowledge through training and teamwork.
