Job summary

Lamps Plus, Inc. in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Sales Associate II to learn store operations under supervision and participate in the sales process. This transitional role leads to a Commission Sales Associate I after training, with emphasis on product knowledge and customer service.

You will assist with stock, merchandising, and clerical tasks, while developing sales techniques through training modules and real-world practice. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Motivated, energetic individual with a focus on superior customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car for in-home demonstrations/consultations.
• Ability to multi-task and work evenings and weekends.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Regular attendance and reliable schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving and unloading merchandise.
• Arrange items on shelves by style, size and type.
• Assist with inventory tracking and labeling as needed.
• Prepare products for display and pricing on the floor.
• Use register or kiosk to ring sales and check product availability.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support other team members.
