Dollar General Corporation is looking for a store associate who will serve customers, stock merchandise, and maintain attractive displays. You will unload deliveries, set up plan-o-grams, and operate the cash register to complete transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, locating items, stocking shelves, cleaning the store, and following company policies to maximize profitability and teamwork while protecting assets.

Formación

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Ability to read and follow plan‑o‑gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Experience with IBM cash registers.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in shelves or stock room.
• Build and rotate displays; face merchandise on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, bag purchases, and handle payments.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep the store clean and comply with policies.
