Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Retail Associate to be the primary contact for customers, stock shelves, build displays, and operate the cash register. The role requires aiding customers, maintaining plan-o-grams, and ensuring merchandise is presented and stocked efficiently.

You'll assist in receiving shipments, restocking as needed, and helping maintain store cleanliness and safety while upholding company policies and procedures.

Qualificações

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive and unpack cartons; store or stock on the floor.
• Build and face displays to present products.
• Rotate and restock merchandise as needed.
• Assist customers in locating items and answer questions.
• Handle checkout: scan, bag, and collect payment.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep front end clean and displays organized.
