Job summary

Dollar General is seeking team members to serve customers, stock and display merchandise, and handle transactions on site. You will unload trucks, unpack boxes, and set up plan-o-grams while maintaining store presentation and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include assisting shoppers, operating the cash register, processing payments, and helping with product ordering. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities to grow in a diverse retail environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and move merchandise to stock areas.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons and totes; stock shelves.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and face items.
• Assist customers in locating products and answer questions.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register to total purchases.
• Collect payment, make change, and bag items.
• Help with ordering using hand-held scanners when needed.
• Keep front end clean and assist with sidewalk displays.
