Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a team member to serve customers, stock shelves, and assist with merchandising in a fast-paced retail environment. You will greet customers, operate the checkout, and help keep the store clean and well-presented.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, displays, guiding customers to products, and assisting with ordering merchandise as needed. High school diploma preferred; safety and cash handling knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
