Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate to act as the primary contact for customers, assist with plan-of-gram execution, stock merchandise, and support store operations. You will help with checkout, assist customers in locating items, and maintain a clean, well-organized store.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, building displays, and following company policies. This role emphasizes teamwork and protecting company assets while delivering friendly service.

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total customer purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment from customers and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners, as needed.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays when necessary.
