Dollar General Corporation is seeking a retail associate to serve as a customer-facing point of contact, stock merchandise, and maintain store presentation. You’ll load/unload shipments, assist customers, and operate the checkout to complete transactions.

The role emphasizes safety, team collaboration, and efficient store operations, with a focus on cashier responsibilities and merchandising execution to support sales and store standards.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and bag items for customers.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness including front end, restrooms, and stockroom.
