Job summary

Huck’s Market is seeking a Sales Associate to join our team in Mattoon, IL. This role supports daily store operations, delivers friendly customer service, and helps maintain clean, well-stocked aisles and accurate cash handling.

You will promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assist customers with purchases, questions, and basic store tasks as assigned by the Store Manager. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and provides courteous service adhering to Best In Class standard.
• Maintains store appearance to reflect company expectations and standards.
• Ensures store is open and ready for business during all hours.
• Handles customer conflicts using MAKE IT RIGHT method.
• Maintains proper cash handling and records on the workstation.
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app to customers and assists with sign-up and usage.
• Keeps cooler and shelves stocked and displays fronted at all times.
• Monitors and reports any maintenance or safety issues to the Store Manager.
