Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months retail experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, excellent customer service to ensure a great shopping experience.
• Engage customers to deter theft and promote sales.
• Assist with merchandising: replenish stock, monitor fitting rooms, and transport merchandise as needed.
• Understand products, current promotions, and opportunities to improve retail sales.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and overall store.
• Apply CommunityAid’s sales and marketing methods, floor layout, and tagging system.
• Demonstrate flexibility: answer questions, assist with store opening/closing, and other tasks as assigned.
• Report theft, customer complaints, injuries, and unsafe conditions to Management.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently per company guidelines.
• Comply with Employee Handbook and all community policies.
