Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to greet customers, help locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, and stock and clean the store. You will follow store procedures, handle cash, and assist with displays while supporting store profitability and customer satisfaction.

This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced retail environment. Applicants should have strong communication, basic math, and cash-handling skills; high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Follow merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
