Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as a first point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, and maintain plan-o-grams for optimal presentation. You will also help protect company assets and support store profitability.

In this role you will unload trucks, stock shelves, greet customers, operate a cash register, and assist with merchandising and pricing. The position requires basic math, safety awareness, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Follow processes to receive, unpack, and store merchandise.
• Build and rotate displays; faceShelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Support with ordering merchandise using scanners.
• Clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays when needed.
