Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be a friendly, helpful face for customers in our Cleveland store. You will assist customers in locating merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves and maintain store cleanliness.

Daily duties include greeting customers, processing transactions, restocking, and ensuring merchandise displays follow planograms. Previous experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Standard cash handling knowledge and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, scan items, process payments and bag merchandise.
• Unpack, stock, rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Keep store clean; take out trash and maintain restrooms and sidewalks displays.
