Qualifications

• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate ability to lead staff; to work with a diverse public.
• Knowledge of retail operations, sales, community and customers relations.
• Knowledge of computer technology, including cash register and POS systems, and computer programs (Word, Excel), social media and email.

Responsibilities

• Operate store cash register and POS system, handle transactions and discounts.
• Count cash drawers at opening/closing with accuracy.
• Maintain store operation records and timely reports for management.
• Answer phones professionally and present a positive image.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and loading items.
• Protect facility and merchandise with loss prevention measures.
• Sort, display and rotate merchandise as directed by managers.
• Support coworkers and attend safety trainings.
