Ace Retail Group is seeking a Sales Associate to help receive, stock, price, and present merchandise while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment. You will engage customers, solve problems, and provide personalized service to ensure a great shopping experience.

Key duties include greeting customers, guiding them to products, handling inquiries, and supporting store operations. Prior retail experience and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Formal retail experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsabilités

• Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware and deliver excellent customer service.
• Proactively assist customers in solving problems and answer questions.
• Greet customers entering and throughout the store; be friendly and helpful.
• Thank customers when they are finished and leaving.
• Maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor and work well with customers and associates.
• Respond to pages and calls promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Escalate customer complaints to management when needed.
• Know store layout and product locations; share product knowledge.
• Provide customized service to help customers find what they need and have a positive experience.
• Keep store operations professional and safe for staff and customers.
• Assist with receiving, checking in and stocking merchandise.
• Maintain back stock levels and organize stock room.
• Keep the sales floor and stock room clean and orderly, including end caps and ads.
• Assist with merchandise resets and pricing changes.
• Support Department Specialists with special orders and signage updates.
• Ensure signage is current throughout the store.
• Operate forklift with proper training and safety.
• Communicate issues to the General Manager for follow-up.
• Share merchandising and cost-control ideas with the GM.
• Participate in store meetings and training.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
