Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a part-time Retail Store Associate in a CVS pharmacy environment to provide friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and operate cash registers with accuracy.

The role involves stocking shelves, assisting with pricing, and participating in opening/closing store activities as required. High school diploma preferred; 16+ ages welcome; 20 hours weekly with a pay range of $16.00–$23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects.
• Visual Acuity - reading and visual inspection of products.

Responsibilities

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, compassion and care in interactions, and resolving potential service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties - handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, updating pricing and completing inventory tasks as directed by store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
