We value teamwork, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and opportunities for advancement. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; strong communication and basic math skills are important to handle

• Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions, making change, and calculating discounts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and the ability to organize and arrange merchandise effectively.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with operating cash registers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, shelves, displays, and product arrangement.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with merchandise and ensure proper rotation.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Follow procedures for handling cash, coupons, and store discounts.
• Keep track of expiration dates and ensure perishable items are rotated.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
