Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate in Moneta, VA. You will greet customers, ring up sales, and ensure a clean, safe store. You will handle lottery, alcohol, and other sales while maintaining compliance with age-verification rules.

Role includes stocking, merchandising, and occasional cross-training in other departments. Weekend/holiday availability and strong customer service skills are valued; benefits and weekly pay are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English effectively.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with compliance.
• Upsell products to increase sales when possible.
• Keep store interiors and exteriors clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain neat, full merchandise.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed (e.g., deli).
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
