Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in the stock room or on the sales floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face products on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers, operate the cash register, and bag purchases.
• Collect payment, make change, and assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with company policies.
