Dollar General is looking for a Retail Associate in New York to serve as the primary point of contact for customers while helping with plan-o-grams, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and inviting.

You will unload trucks, build displays, operate the cash register, and ensure accurate pricing and merchandising in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma preferred; team-oriented and reliable candidates encouraged.

Formación

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes; stock merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays.
• Stock merchandise; rotate and face shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to total purchases.
• Collect payment from customer and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean front end of store and help set up sidewalk displays.
