Dollar General in New York is seeking a store associate to be the point of contact for customers, assist with setting plan-o-grams, and stock merchandise while maintaining presentation. You will unload trucks, build displays, rotate stock, assist customers and operate the register.

High school diploma preferred; basic math and cash handling experience is a plus. Responsibilities include unloading, stocking, cashier duties, and maintaining store cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise on shelves.
• Follow store procedures to receive, open and unpack cartons.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; stock and face shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answer questions.
• Operate cash register, process payments and bag items.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Keep store clean and safe, including restrooms and stockroom.
