Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale system experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge, skills & abilities include strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships.
• Identify customer needs, recommend merchandise, and contribute to achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Represent KARM Stores' mission and values through professional, respectful interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized store through merchandising, stocking, recovery, pricing, and general maintenance.
• Process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and donations using the POS system.
• Handle cash and electronic payments following company procedures for register balancing and data confidentiality.
