Job summary

Aalberts Surface Technologies AB Inc in New Hampshire is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the plant's production operations and ensure outstanding customer service. You will work closely with customers to understand needs and plan production accordingly while complying with safety, quality and environmental standards.

You will lead a high performing team, drive continuous improvement in safety and efficiency, manage scheduling, shipping and receiving, and report performance against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in Industrial Operations.
• Experience in a Leadership position is required.

Responsibilities

• Will be the primary contact for customers. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance.
• Responsible for production scheduling for the plant that would meet customer requirements without compromising plant efficiency including shipping and receiving activities.
• Work with and develop a high performing team to excel in safety and other KPIs set by the company to drive operational efficiency.
• Seek continuous improvement in safety, customer service, quality, efficiency and 5S by working with other managers.
• Participate in problem solving activities.
• Take part in monthly meetings with detailed analysis of performance with respect to the KPI targets.
• Coach and direct Shift Managers to run safe and efficient operations.
• Responsible for employee training at different levels.
• Help direct reports in disciplinary activities.
• Make sure Shift Managers provide fair employee evaluations.
• Create a culture where employees feel respected and satisfied.
• Other duties as assigned.
