The Veterans Canteen Service at the New Orleans VA Medical Center is seeking full-time Food Service Workers to deliver exceptional service in our cafes and retail markets. Candidates should be comfortable on their feet for long periods and able to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required. A valid REAL ID is required to work at Veterans Canteen Service, and applicants should be able to read instructions and perform basic math for food

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the food service industry is preferred but not necessary.
• A current, valid REAL ID is required to work at Veterans Canteen Service.
• Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math for food preparation.
