Job summary

Aafes at Dover Base, DE is seeking an entry-level food service worker to prepare and serve a limited variety of simple foods with very basic cooking skills.

Under designated supervision, you will focus on delivering a personalized customer experience, follow oral instructions, and maintain a friendly, cooperative approach in a rotating station environment. Monday to Friday 10:30–17:00 shift required.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of high school preferred.
• Ability to follow oral instructions and do simple tasks that are easy to learn.
• Must be able to qualify for a food handlers card.
• Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a 9 months for 9 months basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves a limited variety of simple foods with very limited cooking skills.
• Works with changing work stations in the facility on a regular basis.
• Delivers a personalized customer experience.
• Follows oral instructions and safety/food-handling rules.
