Job summary

VRC Companies is seeking a Driver to operate company vans/box trucks to deliver service at customer locations in Alabama. You must maintain on-time attendance, follow directions, and meet productivity and quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, responding to requests, and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates should have a high school diploma, valid license, pass MVR and background checks, and be able to pass

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• MVR Check.
• Background check.
• Must be able to pass random drug screens.
• Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with Records Center.
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must be able to work overtime and available around the clock including holidays.
• Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
• Commercial Driver’s License, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs.
• Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position.
• Meet department productivity and quality standards.
• Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction.
• Work with customers to fulfill customer service requests.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or DOO.
• In inclement weather, report to work two hours before regularly scheduled time to allow for delays and to budget time to put tire chains on company vehicles, if necessary.
