Job summary

Wilco Cashiers provide excellent customer service, create invoices, and sell farm store products using established point of sale procedures, focusing on accuracy. They assist customers and help the Lead Cashier in achieving store goals while supporting the sales floor and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, maintaining invoices and cash, and keeping the checkout area tidy. Open availability is required for days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, cashiering or related roles.
• Ability to operate a computer and a point of sale system.
• Basic arithmetic and ability to provide accurate change.
• Clear communication with customers and coworkers.
• Open availability to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and match needs with the right person or department.
• Process checkout transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain invoices and cash at stations securely.
• Keep checkout area clean and orderly.
• Maintain adequate supplies at checkouts and answer phones.
