Mark Rink is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions accurately while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating POS systems, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining checkout area cleanliness. The role requires good communication, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cashiering or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their purchasing needs.
• Operate cash registers, scanners, and other point-of-sale equipment accurately.
• Process cash, credit, debit, and check transactions efficiently.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
