Job summary

TravelCenters of America is hiring a cashier to provide excellent customer service, process POS transactions, and keep the sales floor clean and stocked. A positive, courteous attitude helps ensure travelers have a great visit and return to the road well-rested.

The role requires the ability to handle basic computer/POS functions and to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays. TA promotes equal opportunity employment and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions of customers on a POS register and maintain a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area.
• Stock merchandise and ensure a safe, customer-friendly sales floor.
• Prioritize tasks according to store and management needs and follow safety guidelines.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers and perform other duties as assigned.
