Job summary

GESMV is seeking a motivated retail associate to support donation intake and the sale of goods in the Dayton area. You will greet customers, process transactions at the register, and help price and prepare textiles and other donated items for resale.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, maintaining displays, and ensuring a safe, clean store environment. The role requires flexibility with schedule and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cashiering experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Operate cash register accurately and handle transactions.
• Inspect and price donated goods and textiles for resale.
• Receive and sort donated items and maintain stock displays.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and alignment with agency policies.
• Prepare textiles and goods for resale in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain records and complete reports as assigned.
