Job summary

Dierbergs Markets is seeking a part-time Grocery Cart Attendant to support store operations and guest experience. You will retrieve carts from the parking lot, aid cashiers, and help maintain clean, stocked aisles throughout the store.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. You will contribute to a positive first impression for customers while upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve carts from the parking lot and load purchases into customer carts.
• Help keep check lanes organized and stocked with bags and essentials.
• Distribute hand baskets and keep aisles clean and orderly.
• Sweep and mop floors when maintenance is unavailable.
• Assist cashiers with requests and support guest services as needed.
• Stock advertisements and ensure proper bagging techniques.
• Assist with loading carts into customers' vehicles and removing debris from parking areas.
