Job summary

First National Bank in Ellsworth, Maine, is seeking a full-time teller/customer service associate. The role offers competitive pay, time off, benefits and a bonus plan. Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.

You will accurately process customer banking transactions, sell bank products, and refer customers to appropriate personnel. Emphasis on cash handling, direct customer service, and meeting branch goals.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• High School degree or GED required.
• Sales and computer experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer banking transactions in teller system following bank policies.
• Determine customer needs to sell bank products and services and refer to appropriate personnel.
• Meet branch goals for deposit growth, personal and business accounts, and IRAs.
• Explain features, rates, terms and benefits of bank products.
• Investigate and correct customer-reported errors and report unusual activity to management.
• Open deposit accounts and manage safe deposit box system as needed.
