Job summary

The City National Bank in Emory, TX seeks a Full-Time Bank Teller to handle deposits, withdrawals and routine transactions while delivering friendly, accurate service to customers.

As frontline staff, you will verify signatures, process cash, issue checks, record transactions, balance cash drawers, and help promote banking services in a compliant, secure environment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and prior public-facing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.
• Complete and pass all required training courses as assigned

Responsibilities

• Cashes checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures.
• Accepts deposits, confirming accuracy of transaction.
• Prepares, verifies, and issues cashiers’ checks and drafts.
• Enters transactions in bank systems and provides receipts.
• Evaluates checks for endorsements, IDs, and legality.
• Identifies opportunities to promote banking services.
• Calculates daily transactions and balances cash drawers.
• Maintains a secure work area and handles negotiables responsibly.
