Potbelly Corporate is hiring a Part Time Team Member in Canton, MI. You will greet customers, prepare and serve food, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean, fast-paced kitchen environment.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and efficiency in delivering high-quality sandwiches and desserts. The position offers hourly pay between $13.75 and $14.25 plus digital tips, with a suite of benefits including medical, dental & vision, paid parental leave, 401(k) with company match,

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment.
• Must be able to manage allergens (peanuts, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish).
• Team player and able to stand/walk 3+ hours; lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front).
• Meet health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream).
• If 18 or older, operate the automatic slicer.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Handle customer complaints and issues effectively.
• Take delivery/catering/pickup orders by phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
