Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a friendly, efficient team member to ensure a high quality customer experience in a fast-paced sandwich shop environment. You will greet customers, help with menu suggestions, and contribute to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Responsibilities include making sandwiches, salads, and wraps; operating a POS; handling cash and inventory; keeping stations clean; assisting with food prep; and lifting up to 25 pounds. You may cross-train across stations and support teammates.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service.
• Ability to handle cash accurately.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and perform light food prep.

Responsibilities

• Becomes cross-trained in some or all job stations as directed.
• Make sandwiches, salads and wraps.
• Operate a POS system/cash register.
• Slice vegetables and other food preparation.
• Wash dishes, wipe tables, counters and chairs.
• Sweep floor in work area.
• Account for cash and product.
• Cash-Ins required at each shift.
• Taking Inventory.
• Other job related tasks as required.
