Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or sales floor.
• Build and stock displays; rotate and face items on shelves.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, collect payment, and bag purchases.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners as needed.
• Keep store clean: dust, mop, restrooms, and stockroom; manage trash.
• Follow company policies and maintain a safe work environment.
