Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and display merchandise, and keep the store clean. You will help maximize profitability while protecting company assets in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and math skills, are able to follow planograms, and provide excellent service at checkout. This is a part-time position based at our store locations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Basic math skills and cash handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Operate cash register and complete transactions.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Protect company assets and follow safety policies.
