Job summary

Hibbett is seeking a Sales Associate in Louisville, KY to deliver quality customer service and drive product sales in the Operations department. You will become knowledgeable in our merchandise and uphold company standards while creating a positive shopping experience.

This role is non-exempt and hourly, reporting to the Store Manager. You’ll assist during peak periods, promote services, and help meet sales targets while maintaining store policies and merchandising guidelines.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Produce and give extraordinary customer service as described in the customer service manual.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise.
• Set goals to grow selling skills and track sales.
• Uphold all company policies and standards in manuals.
• Assist in daily store operations, housekeeping, and shipments.
• Present merchandise to promote and sell goods per product knowledge.
• Aim to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Identify merchandise needs and communicate issues to management.
• Attend staff meetings and clinics for the store.
• Protect company assets and report potential fraud risk.
