Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking a Sales Associate in Basile, LA. You will greet customers, run the register, and handle sales of lottery, tobacco, and alcohol with compliance to age verifications and laws. You’ll help keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming for customers in all weather conditions.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. Prior retail experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Communication skills: reads, writes, speaks, and understands English effectively.
• Math proficiency: basic arithmetic.
• Physical ability to lift 10–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and operate register with accuracy and speed.
• Handle lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales in compliance with age verification and laws.
• Upsell to increase sales where appropriate.
• Keep store clean and safe, both inside and outside.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; ensure merchandise looks fresh.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and assist wherever needed.
